They deal with mostcriminal matters while the jurisdiction of these courts in respect of civil matters is subject to monetary thresholds.

The scope of both of these tribunals is limited to staff members and those that have a contractual relationship with the organization if the contract includes such clauses and would not include volunteers, interns and in some cases contractors if their contract does not include such clauses.

The Dispute Tribunal will decide whether to admit the application for interpretation and, if it does so, shall issue its interpretation.

These guidelines typically are intended to promote transparent communication between courts, permitting courts of different jurisdictions to communicate with one another, without changing the applicable domestic rules or procedures or affectingor curtailing the substantive rights of any party in proceedings before the courts.
