On a more positive note, the conclusion appears to be that access to justice has been increased, primarily in the field of personal injury, but also in other areas such as insolvency, pro bono and charitable work, and defamation, as well as other personal or commercial actions for parties who fall outside the shrinking scope of legal aid, but are unable to fund the litigation personally.
