Requests the Special Rapporteur on the right to education, in close cooperation with all relevant stakeholders, including Governments, United Nations agencies and programmes, civil society and other relevant United Nations mandate holders, to include in his next interim report to the General Assembly at its sixtysixth session an update to his report on the right to education in emergencies, in order to identify gaps and remaining challenges in ensuring the right to education in emergency situations.

The Security Council requests the Secretary-General to continue to consult with the Security Council, taking into account views expressed by other relevant stakeholders, including the broader United Nations membership, taking into account the need to further develop indicators contained in his report (S/2010/173), and the parallel ongoing work regarding resolution 1888 (2009), in order to include a comprehensive set of indicators in his next report on the implementation of resolution 1325 (2000) to be submitted to the Security Council in October 2010, as well as a programme of work containing roles and responsibilities visà-vis the indicators within the United Nations system and a time frame to render the indicators operational.

Furthermore, as noted in paragraph 2 above, pursuant to General Assembly resolution 63/266, the Secretary-General has included in his report a projection of the total budget for special political missions for the biennium 2010–2011, which he estimates could amount to some $1,148,739,700, or $319,811,300 more than the provision for special political missions in the proposed programme budget for the biennium 2010–2011 (see A/64/349, para. 78 and annex III).

These include making available sales brochures to the public, disclosing in sales brochures the property information as required, specifying in printed advertisements the net number of units exclusively available for public sales and private sales, disclosing to the public the names of the developer, its parent or holding company, the Authorized Person, main superstructure contractor, solicitor firms and mortgagee bank, disclosing to the public in advertisements and sales brochures any personal and financial relationships between the developer and Authorized Person, solicitor and superstructure contractor, and so on.

The Commission also noted the reservations of the European Community and Norway on MRLs for carbaryl (008) in citrus fruit; fusilazole (165) in edible offal, apples and pear; dimethoate (027) in peppers and lettuce; malathion (049) in wheat; methomyl (094) in grapes and tomato; cypermethrins (118) in cauliflower, scarole, apples and peaches; and cyhalothrin (146) in apricots, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage head, milk, nectarines, peaches, tomatoes, peppers sweet, and corn for reasons presented in CAC/32 LIM/16.

Another member asked that the Committee recommend that the Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer include a special focus on the African Region in the evaluation of methyl bromide projects, highlighting appropriate phase-out strategies and lessons learned from completed projects.

At the fourth meeting of the Contact Group, the Group of 77 and China raised concerns about those issues and proposed including the following questions in the modified text: (a) the current validity and application of paragraph (a) of decision 1995/201 of the Economic and Social Council throughout the whole document; and (b) whether a decision was required by the Council formalizing the replacement of “European Community” with “European Union”.

In connection with paragraph 4 (c) of resolution 1896 (2009), by which the Council decided to expand the mandate of the Committee to “specify the necessary information that Member States should provide in order to fulfil the notification requirement set out in paragraph 5 of resolution 1807 (2008) and to circulate this among Member States”, and pursuant to a request from the Committee, the Group has included in annex I elements of possible guidance in this regard.

Careful selection of high-quality tubing is important when installing safe, leak-tight systems.

To this end, the Director-General was encouraged to present information more conducive to an assessment of the Organization’s capacity to deliver, by including in the overall assessment of key results the main challenges and possible future action to address them, by explaining in the C/3 document differences between expected results and results achieved, and by bringing out more clearly the contribution of extrabudgetary-financed activities in the pursuit of the C/5 expected results.

On the trial or hearing of any action or other proceedings for the recovery of any money due for any call, it shall be sufficient to prove that the name of the member sued is entered in the register as the holder, or one of the holders, of the shares in respect of which such debt accrued, that the resolution making the call is duly recorded in the minute book, and that notice of such call was duly given to the member sued, in pursuance of these Articles; and it shall not be necessary to prove the appointment of the Directors who made such call, nor any other matters whatsoever, but the proof of the matters aforesaid shall be conclusive evidence of the debt.

The Committee decided to point out that the whole of the international community is duty bound to respect fundamental universally recognized human rights; that those fundamental rights, enshrined in particular in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, include the right to “freedom of opinion and expression; that this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media”; and that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights admits only such limitations to the exercise of those rights as are determined by law, and then solely “for the purpose of securing due recognition and respect for the rights and freedoms of others and of meeting the just requirements of morality, public order and the general welfare” (140 EX/3 PRIV., para. 133).

Consequently, it has not been possible to include or refer to any such materials or their content in the present report.

If a full submission of those items was not possible, the Committee would have expected that indicative estimates of the resource requirements, at a minimum, would have been reflected in the proposed programme budget in order to provide Member States with the most comprehensive information possible at the time.

The Committee further recommends that the State party include in the new drafts of law being developed clear and precise norms for the effective protection of the right of indigenous peoples in the north, Siberia and the far east, to their ancestral lands, natural resources and cultural heritage, including protection of their intellectual property rights to their works which are an expression of their traditional culture and knowledge.

(e) At the Annual General Meeting, the Chairman of the meeting will exercise his power under Article 66 of the Articles of Association of the Company to put each of the resolutions set out in the Notice of Annual General Meeting to the vote by way of poll.

He recalled previous decisions of the Parties supporting timely payment of contributions and of the practice of indicating clearly, either in banking deposit information or under separate cover to him, the exact amounts and the currency used in making payments to the Fund.

The trade unions have sent repeatedly to the Government proposals to include criminal and administrative liability for the breach of the trade union rights provided for, including in International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, but they have not been accepted due to the reason that “application of the criminal and administrative legislation on trade unions is not purposeful, because their character is not a socially dangerous one”.

The Equal Rights for Women Law 5711-1951, (the “Equal Rights for Women Law”) was also amended in 2008, to add two important sections relating to the collection and processing of information: Section 3A determines that any person or an entity requiring a person to state, in a form or other document, the names of one his/her parents should require the names of both parents (as long as the person has that knowledge).

In section III, paragraph 12, of the same resolution, the General Assembly noted with concern that the Secretary-General had not included in his report on the pattern of conferences information about the financial savings achieved through implementation of the integrated global management projects as requested in section III, paragraph 4, of its resolution 63/248, and requested the Secretary-General to redouble his efforts to include that information in his next report on the pattern of conferences.
