Sir Mark Lyall Grant (United Kingdom): The United Kingdom is appalled by the decision of Russia and China to veto the draft resolution (S/2012/538) aimed at bringing an end to the bloodshed in Syria and at creating the conditions for a meaningful political process.

(United Kingdom): I should like to express the condolences of the British Government to the delegation of China on the loss of life following the devastating earthquake today.

As Benjamin writes in the same text, in the thesis III the redemption of mankind will be to receive all our past as citable, this work of Claire Fontaine wishes to allude to the possibility of redemption, but points out to the irreparable catastrophe.

As for the report before us, I would like first of all to thank the President of the Security Council for the month of November, Ambassador Mark Lyall Grant, Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom, for his informative presentation of the report.

It is against that background that the Secretary of State decided to set up the Commission and ask it to consider, amongst other things, how national IPR rights could best be designed to benefit developing countries.

The series was launched in partnership with UNEG, UNDP, ILO, UN-Women, Claremont University and the Rockefeller Foundation, as well as global professional evaluation associations.

The commitment, discipline, and missionary zeal that distinguish evangelicalism were features of the apostolic church, the fathers, early monasticism, the medieval reform movements (Cluniac, Cistercian, Franciscan, and Dominican), preachers like Bernard of Clairvaux and Peter Waldo, the Brethren of the Common Life, and the Reformation precursors Wycliffe, Hus, and Savonarola.

On regular buses, a short ride within one zone is $2.40, two zones $3.60 and three zones $4.50. Zone 1 covers the inner suburbs (including Subiaco and Claremont) and Zone 2 extends all the way west to Fremantle.
