In the course of deliberation, the Administration has been asked to consider a member's suggestion that registration marks consisting of the letters "LC" which are reserved for the Commission under the Bill should be released for public auction or for application under the PVRMs Scheme; while similar combinations consisting of the letters "LEGCO" can be reserved for assignment to vehicles owned by the Commission instead.

(v) To obtain any order ordinance charter or Act of Parliament for enabling the Company to carry any of its objects into effect or for effecting any modification of the Company’s constitution or for any other purpose which may seem expedient and to oppose any proceedings or applications which may seem calculated directly or indirectly to prejudice the Company’s interests.

(e) any arbitration pursuant to this clause shall be a domestic arbitration for the purposes of the Arbitration Ordinance (Cap. 341).

In general, window and window wall systems should satisfy the performance requirements stipulated in the B(C)R and the requirements on lighting and ventilation stipulated in the Building (Planning) Regulations (B(P)R).

(B) The Company may by ordinary resolution, before the issue of any new shares, make any provisions as to the issue and allotment of such shares including, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, a provision that the new shares or any of them shall be offered in the first instance to all the holders for the time being of shares of any class in proportion to thenumber of the shares held by them respectively but in default of any such determination, such shares may be dealt with as if they formed part of the capital of the Company existing prior to the issue of the same.

Notwithstanding any provision contained in these Articles, the Directors may, if permitted by applicable law, authorise the destruction of any documents referred to in this Article or any other documents in relation to share registration which have been microfilmed or electronically stored by the Company or by the share registrar on its behalf provided always that this Article shall apply only to the destruction of a document in good faith and without express notice to the Company that the preservation of such document might be relevant to a claim.

The non-recurrent commitment will also cover other ad hoc expenses directly related to the Revitalisation Scheme, such as conducting historic research into individual buildings, mounting publicity (such as exhibitions and printing of promotional materials to promote the Revitalisation Scheme), maintaining the buildings yet to be allocated under the Revitalisation Scheme and arranging open days for those buildings.
