As we have repeatedly highlighted, terrorism finds sustenance and support from a dangerous mix of ideologies and ambitions supported by training and operations across the region, with suicide terrorism as its main technique and targets that are not limited to Afghanistan.

Indeed, on 23 April, simultaneously with the Council debate in which Palestine again confirmed its commitment to peace and negotiations for achieving the two-State solution, the occupying Power was instead engaged in deceitful efforts aimed at entrenching three illegal settlement outposts on occupied Palestinian land.

This is yet another tired practice by that regime to distract the attention of the international community from its nuclear arsenal, as well as its criminal policies and abhorrent atrocities in the region, including its recent heinous crimes against the people of Palestine and Lebanon.

Terrorism continues to find sustenance and support from a dangerous osmosis of ideologies, ambitions, training and operations among the syndicate of terrorism in the region, with suicide terrorism as its main technique and targets not limited to Afghanistan.

By blocking any single action against the inhumane policies and acts of the Israeli regime in this Council and using various tactics to undermine efforts in other United Nations bodies to hold it accountable, these criminals enjoy a merciless impunity in violating the internationally recognized human rights and humanitarian law.

These letters represent yet another futile effort by Armenia to use propaganda to deny its responsibility for the aggression and other most serious international crimes committed against Azerbaijan and its citizens.
