The only issue we have experienced is the challenge of running some of the older educational applications which were not designed for use over this type of network and these minor issues are now all being ironed out.

Areas identified for further improvement and refinement were the need to reduce still further personnel costs in relation to programme costs, the definition of a public information strategy, the need to highlight better the contribution of extrabudgetary funds to the realization of principal and other objectives of each major programme, the elimination of superannuated projects and improvements in context mapping which would also help to identify the comparative advantages of the Organization vis-à-vis other actors.

For the corrections system, the building of a new Monrovia Central Prison to replace the existing overcrowded and dilapidated structure has been identified as a priority that needs donor assistance.

For the solvent sector covering CFC-113, CTC (solvent) and TCA, in 2004 the Executive Committee has approved terminal umbrella projects and technical assistance programmes for the complete phase-out of ODS solvents in five countries: (Argentina, Chile, Jamaica, Romania and Turkey) and tranches of multi-year phase-out investment projects in two countries (China and Korea DPR).
