Time is of the essence and we Guineans must assume our responsibilities, turn the page once and for all and set our country on the path to sustainable peace and stability.

The following is an example of one 2008 decision regarding the severity with which the courts and the authorities regard breaches of the Foreign Workers Law concerning foreign worker’s rights.

However, the conflict persists, and we have not achieved the objective that would make it possible to resolve the conflict once and for all, that is, the creation of a sovereign and independent Palestinian State that is politically and economically viable and living in peace side by side with Israel within secure and internationally recognized borders.

Serbia stands ready to engage in a dialogue that would settle all the outstanding issues once and for all in a peaceful manner, and Serbia asks for the support of this Council and of the United Nations in this peaceful approach.

Yesterday, the Haitian Government convened an important meeting with MINUSTAH, seeking cooperation in putting an end to this issue once and for all.

Israel has filed new reports on the ILO Equality of Treatment (Accident Compensation) Convention (No. 19), the ILO Social Security (Minimum Standards) Convention (No. 102) and the ILO Equal Treatment (Social Security) Convention (118) – all discussing the years 2001–2006.

The international community should shoulder its responsibility by compelling Israel to cease immediately and once and for all of those violations aimed at imposing faits accomplis, which have been rejected and threaten the chances for peace.

As the virus is a potentially dangerous pathogen, it is important for incidents of leakage of human swine influenza A virus (subtype H1) from laboratories to be subject to the statutory notification requirement, so as to facilitate early detection of such incidents, and to enable appropriate control measures to be implemented in a timely manner for the protection of laboratory workers and prevention of spread of diseases.

Through that 12-month re-extension, which we support, we reaffirm our trust in the activities of the Special Representative and our common desire to see an Afghanistan that is democratic, independent, stable and prosperous and has rejected violence and instability once and for all.

Many people who emigrated to those countries in an effort to escape war or poverty found themselves caught between the devil and the deep blue sea: they were subjected to cruel treatment, deprived of the right to work and restricted in their religious freedom; their religious symbols were ridiculed in the name of freedom of expression; and they were denied the right to dress as they pleased.

(d) If it is true that our fixation on the four main items on our agenda prevents us from achieving our goals of international security and disarmament, why not request the General Assembly to convene, once and for all, its fourth special session devoted to disarmament in order to review the whole machinery, as many States have suggested?

Rich countries must, as a matter of urgency, show the necessary political will to bring about a lasting reversal in the situation; that depended essentially on the development of alternative sustainable economic models grounded in a new international economic order.

We consider that meeting to be another opportunity to assess the current threat posed by terrorism and to lay out a forwardlooking approach for our future actions to eradicate this scourge once and for all.

For this reason, the international community must no longer judge Israel on what it says, but rather by the actions it takes, and hold it fully responsible, should it sabotage the opportunity before us to secure peace once and for all.
