In view of the above, Abkhazia once again appeals to the United Nations to allow the representative of the Republic of Abkhazia to speak during the debate on the conflict between Abkhazia and Georgia so that members of the United Nations may listen to both sides and make the right decision for the sake of the people concerned.

The Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination also has the opinion that States parties, when considering the question of indigenous peoples at the national level, could define and further reflect on the concept of indigenous peoples in relation to its understanding in international law by taking into account the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, together with International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention 169 concerning the Rights of Indigenous and Tribal Peoples (CERD/C/ECU/CO/19, CERD/C/NIC/CO/14, CERD/C/FJI/CO/17 and CERD/C/USA/CO/6).

At its sixty-third session, the General Assembly called upon all States to refrain from enacting, and to repeal if it already existed, legislation intended as a coercive measure that discriminated against individuals or groups of legal migrants by adversely affecting family reunification and the right to send financial remittances to relatives in the country of origin (resolution 63/188).

While it is important to understand who enrolls in graduate school (i.e., the inputs to the system), it is equally important to understand the outputs of the system—who completes their degree, who does not, and their place in the workforce—because it is at this stage where the system seems to falter.
