The time of receipt of an electronic communication from the parties or the neutral to the ODR provider is the time when it becomes capable of being retrieved by the ODR provider at the ODR platform.

The time of the receipt of an electronic communication under the Rules is the time when it becomes capable of being retrieved by the addressee of the communication at the ODR platform.

Administrative tasks to be done by the Assistant will also include documenting the receipt and disposal of peacekeeping records, including the follow-up that is required to obtain the requisite authorization for disposal of those records, thus significantly reducing the costs for storing records in commercial storage.

The Working Group may also wish to note that the designation of the recipient of an electronic communication, whether ODR provider or ODR platform, may affect the time of receipt of electronic communications which in turn affects the time frame of ODR proceedings.
