The term in excess of three years is beneficial to the Company because (i) any term shorter than the License Term and the Secondary Trademark License Term would increase the risks associated with, and lower the returns on, the Group’s investment in its brand building of the Philips Contributed Business; (ii) following Completion, the Group is expected to invest substantial management effort to broaden the Philips Contributed Business’ product range and market share, the benefits of which will extend beyond three years; and (iii) it is the intention of the Company to strengthen the Philips Contributed Business and the presence of the Philips Trademarks and the Secondary Trademark in the markets in which the Scope Products are sold.

During the same period, the Government has been working on the implementation of reintegration programmes, principally through the support project for the socio-economic reintegration of those affected by the conflict in the provinces of Cibitoke, Bubanza and Bujumbura Rural (P3P), the support project for the repatriation and reintegration of disaster victims (UNHCR andPARESI), the programme of voluntary return, resettlement and reintegration for displaced persons living in camps to their native hillsides and more generally through the integrated programme of support for the socio-economic reintegration of those affected by the conflict (UNDAF+) — a joint programme of the Government and the United Nations, launched in March 2010 and operating in the provinces most affected by the crisis (Cibitoke, Bubanza, Bujumbura Rural, Bururi, Makamba, Rutana, Ruyigi and Kirundo).

The public and experts with a passion for history may discover or rediscover letters written byChurchill,Roosevelt and de Gaulle and the hieroglyphics of the scribes; music lovers may admire the scores of Mozart, Beethoven or Chopin; artists may delve into the letters of Van Gogh, Gauguin, Matisse or Magritte; scientists may discover Einstein’s and Besso’s original calculations, or the works of Pasteur and Marie Curie; literature buffs may regard the originals of texts that they have read such as the novels of Tolstoy or Goethe, the manifestos of Zola or Sartre and poems by Verlaine, and theologians may marvel at a surah of the Koran or a verse of the Old Testament.

We recognize the great significance of the assessment mission, and in particular, as the author of the report (see S/2012/42) said, the fact that the mission took place in cooperation with regional and subregional organizations.

The Ministers emphasized the necessity to have Israel withdraw from all Lebanese territories including Shebaa Farms, Kfarshouba Hills and the Lebanese part of Al Ghajar village up until behind the Blue line, in accordancewith relevant international resolutions and in particular resolution 1701; and expressed their support for Lebanon’s right, including its people, army and resistance, to liberate or return the Shebaa Farms and Kfarshouba Hills and the Lebanese village of Al Ghajar, and to defend Lebanon against any aggression by all legitimate means available, and further emphasized Lebanon’s commitment to Security Council Resolution 1701.
