Maori Wars
- a series of wars fought intermittently in 1845-8 and 1860-72 between Maoris and the colonial government of New Zealand over the enforced sale of Maori lands to Europeans, which was forbidden by the Treaty of Waitangi毛利战争（1845-1848和1860-1872年间毛利人和新西兰殖民政府之间的一系列断断续续的战争, 起因是毛利人的土地被强行卖给欧洲人, 而这是《怀唐依条约》所禁止的）。
