Kuril Islands
/ˈkjʊərɪl/(亦作Kurile Islands 或the Kurils)
- a chain of 56 islands between the Sea of Okhotsk and the North Pacific, stretching from the southern tip of the Kamchatka peninsula to the north-eastern corner of the Japanese island of Hokkaido.
