Kawabata
/ˌkɑːwəˈbɑːtə/- Kawabata, Yasunari (1899-1972), Japanese novelist. Known as an experimental writer in the 1920s, he reverted to traditional Japanese novel forms in the mid 1930s. He was the first Japanese writer to win the Nobel Prize for Literature (1968).川端, 康成(1899-1972, 日本作家, 作为20世纪20年代著名的实验派作家, 30年代中期重返传统的日本小说形式, 是第一位获得诺贝尔文学奖的日本作家[1968])。
