Ferlinghetti
/ˌfɜːlɪŋˈgetɪ/- Ferlinghetti, Lawrence (Monsanto) (b.1919), American poet and publisher; born Lawrence Ferling. Identified with San Francisco's beat movement, he founded the publishing house City Lights, which produced works such as Allen Ginsberg's Howl (1957).
