Zhou Enlai

- (1898-1976) , Chinese Communist statesman, Prime Minister of China 1949-76. A founder of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, he organized a Communist workers' revolt in 1927 in Shanghai in support of the Expedition of the National Revolutionary Army to the North.
