Wuhan
/ˈwuːˈhɑːn/- a port in east central China, the capital of Hubei province; pop. 8,001, 500 (est. 2006). Situated at the confluence of the Han and the Yangtze Rivers, it is a conurbation consisting of three adjacent towns (Hankow, Hanyang, and Wuchang), administered jointly since 1950.武汉（中国中东部港口, 湖北省省会, 2006年估计人口8,001, 500; 该市位于汉江和长江的汇合处, 是三个临近城镇, 即汉口、汉阳和武昌组成的大城市, 1950年开始合并为一）。
