European Free Trade Association

- a customs union of western European countries, established in 1960 as a trade grouping without the political implications of the European Economic Community. The original members were Austria, Denmark, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.欧洲自由贸易联盟（西欧国家关税联盟, 1960年建立时只是一个贸易体, 不具有欧洲经济共同体那样的政治内涵, 创始国有：奥地利、丹麦、挪威、葡萄牙、瑞典、瑞士和英国）。
