Worms
/wɜːmz/- an industrial town in western Germany, on the Rhine north-west of Mannheim; pop. 82,200 (est. 2006). It was the scene in 1521 of the condemnation of Martin Luther's teaching, at the Diet of Worms.沃尔姆斯（德国西部一工业城镇, 位于莱茵河河畔、曼海姆的西北面, 2006年估计人口82,200; 1521年沃尔姆斯帝国议会对马丁· 路德教义的批判即发生在该市）。
