Wollstonecraft
/ˈwʊlstənˌkrɑːft/- Wollstonecraft, Mary (1759-97), English writer and feminist, of Irish descent. Her best-known work, A Vindication of the Rights of Woman (1792), defied assumptions about male supremacy and championed educational equality for women.
