Emesa
/ˈeməsə/- a city in ancient Syria, on the River Orontes on the site of present-day Homs. It was famous for its temple to the sun god Elah-Gabal.埃梅萨（古叙利亚城市, 位于今日霍姆斯的奥龙特斯河畔, 以其供奉太阳神厄拉嘎巴的神殿而闻名）。
