Ebla
/ˈeblə/- a city in ancient Syria, situated to the south-west of Aleppo. It became very powerful in the mid 3rd millennium BC, when it dominated a region corresponding to modern Lebanon, northern Syria, and SE Turkey.埃卜拉（古叙利亚城市, 位于阿勒颇西北; 公元前3000年中期十分强大, 它当时统治的区域包括现在的黎巴嫩、叙利亚北部以及土耳其东南部）。
