Vincent de Paul, St
/væŋˈsɒŋdəˈpɒl/- (1581-1660) , French priest. He devoted his life to work among the poor and the sick and established institutions to continue his work, including the Daughters of Charity (Sisters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul) (1633).
