Verner's Law
/ˈvɜːnə(r)/- Linguistics the observation that voiceless fricatives in Germanic predicted by Grimm's Law became voiced if the preceding syllable in the corresponding Indo-European word was unstressed【语言学】维尔纳定律（该定律称, 格里木定律所断言的日耳曼语中的清擦音, 如果在印欧语对应词中的前一个音节是非重读的, 就变成浊音）。
