Vanbrugh
/ˈvænbrə/- Vanbrugh, Sir John (1664-1726), English architect and dramatist. His comedies include The Relapse (1696) and The Provok'd Wife (1697); among his architectural works are Castle Howard in Yorkshire (1702) and Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire (1705), both produced in collaboration with Nicholas Hawksmoor.范布勒, 约翰爵士（1664-1726, 英国建筑师、戏剧家, 著有喜剧《故态复萌》 [1696] , 《河东狮吼》） [1697] 等, 与尼古拉斯·霍克斯穆尔合作设计了约克郡的霍华德堡[1702]和牛津郡的布伦海姆宫[1705]）。
