Theocritus
/θɪˈɒkrɪtəs/- (c.310-c.250 BC) , Greek poet, born in Sicily. He is chiefly known for his Idylls, hexameter poems presenting the lives of imaginary shepherds which were the model for Virgil's Eclogues.忒奥克里托斯（约公元前310- 约前250, 希腊诗人, 生于西西里岛, 主要以创作《田园诗》闻名于世, 这些描写想像中的牧羊人生活的六韵部诗行后来成为维吉尔《牧歌》的原型）。
