- a method of bronze casting using a clay core and a wax coating placed in a mould. The wax is melted in the mould and drained out, and bronze poured into the space left, producing a hollow bronze figure when the core is discarded.脱蜡浇铸法(铸铜术, 模具中置放蜡胎, 中间有泥芯, 蜡熔化后流出模外, 在留出的空间内灌入铜, 取出泥芯后形成空心铜制品)。亦称LOST WAX.
