Bunyan
/ˈbʌnjən/- Bunyan, John (1628-88), English writer. A Nonconformist, he was imprisoned twice for unlicensed preaching and during this time wrote his spiritual autobiography Grace Abounding (1666), and began his major work The Pilgrim's Progress (1678-84).班扬, 约翰（1628-1688, 英国作家, 拒绝英国国教的新教徒, 因非法传教两次入狱, 在狱中写了表白信仰的自传《罪人受恩记》[1666], 并开始创作其主要作品《天路历程》[1678-1684]）。
