Bunsen
/ˈbʌnsən/- Bunsen, Robert Wilhelm Eberhard (1811- 99), German chemist. With Gustav Kirchhoff he pioneered spectroscopy, detecting new elements (caesium and rubidium) and determining the composition of many substances and of the sun and stars.
