Stubbs1, George (1724-1806), English painter and engraver. He is particularly noted for his sporting scenes and paintings of horses and lions, such as the Mares and Foals in a Landscape series (c. 1760- 70). 斯塔布斯, 乔治(1724-1806, 英国画家和雕刻家, 尤以绘运动场景和马、狮等著名, 如风景系列画中的《母马和小马》 [约1760-1770])。
Stubbs2, William (1825-1901), English historian and ecclesiastic. He wrote the influential Constitutional History of England (three volumes 1874- 8).
