Smetana
/ˈsmetənə/- Smetana, Bedřich (1824-84), Czech composer. Regarded as the founder of Czech music, he was dedicated to the cause of Czech nationalism, as is apparent in his operas, such as The Bartered Bride (1866) and in the cycle of symphonic poems Ma Vlast ('My Country' 1874-9).斯美塔那（1824-1884, 捷克作曲家, 被认为是捷克音乐的奠基人, 致力于捷克的民族独立事业, 其歌剧《被出卖的新娘》[1866]等以及交响诗套曲《我的祖国》[1874-1879]即是明证）。
