Sabah
/ˈsɑːbɑː/- a state of Malaysia, comprising the northern part of Borneo and some offshore islands; capital, Kota Kinabalu. A British protectorate from 1888, it joined Malaysia in 1963.沙巴州（马来西亚一州, 由婆罗洲北部和一些近海岛屿组成, 首府哥打基纳巴卢; 1888年起为英国保护地, 1963年并入马来西亚）。
