Ryle1, Gilbert (1900-76), English philosopher. In The Concept of Mind (1949) he attacks the mind-body dualism of Descartes. He was a cousin of the astronomer Sir Martin Ryle. 赖尔, 吉尔伯特（1900-1976, 英国哲学家, 在《精神的概念》[1949]中他抨击了笛卡尔的精神与肉体二元论; 他是天文学家马丁·赖尔爵士的堂兄）。
