Pitcairn Islands
/pɪtˈkeən/- a British overseas territory comprising a group of volcanic islands in the South Pacific, east of French Polynesia. The colony's only settlement is Adamstown, on Pitcairn Island, the chief island of the group; pop. 50 (est. 2009).
