- Greek Mythology a Titaness, daughter of Uranus (Heaven) and Gaia (Earth). She became the mother of Leto and thus the grandmother of Apollo and Artemis. In the later Greek writers her name was often used for Selene (Moon).【希腊神话】福柏（女巨人, 乌拉诺斯［天神］和盖亚［大地女神］之女, 是勒托之母, 因此是阿波罗和阿耳忒弥斯的外祖母, 后期古希腊作家常用其名代替塞勒涅［月亮女神］）。
