Pegu
/peˈguː/- a city and river port of southern Burma (Myanmar), on the Pegu River north-east of Rangoon; pop. 200,900 (est. 2004). Founded in 825 as the capital of the Mon kingdom, it is a centre of Buddhist culture.勃固(缅甸南部港市, 位于仰光东北部勃固河畔, 2004年估计人口200,900; 建于公元825年, 为孟王国首都, 现为佛教文化中心)。
