Occam's razor
(亦作Ockham's razor)
- the principle (attributed to William of Occam) that in explaining a thing no more assumptions should be made than are necessary. The principle is often invoked to defend reductionism or nominalism.奥卡姆剃刀(由奥卡姆威廉提出的原则, 认为在解释事物时不应作多于必要数量的假定, 常被用于为简化论或唯名论辩护)。
