Mid-Atlantic Ridge
- a submarine ridge system extending the length of the Atlantic Ocean from the Arctic to the Antarctic. It is seismically and (in places) volcanically active; the islands of Iceland, the Azores, Ascension, St Helena, and Tristan da Cunha are situated on it.大西洋中脊（从北极延伸到南极的大西洋海底山脊, 地震活动频繁, 部分地区火山活跃; 冰岛、亚速尔群岛、阿森松岛、圣赫勒拿岛和特里斯坦-达库尼亚群岛等均位于此海底山脊上）。
