Melos
/ˈmiːlɒs/- a Greek island in the Aegean Sea, in the south-west of the Cyclades group. It was the centre of a flourishing civilization in the Bronze Age and is the site of the discovery in 1820 of a Hellenistic marble statue of Aphrodite, the Venus de Milo. Greek name MILOS.米洛斯岛（爱琴海中希腊岛屿, 在基克拉泽斯群岛西南部; 铜器时代时曾是一繁荣文明中心, 1820年在此出土了希腊风格的爱与美女神大理石雕塑, 即米洛的维纳斯; 希腊语名MILOS）。
