DirectInput

DirectInput是Direct X的一员，一个输入设备的API，用于结合键盘、鼠标、摇杆，或其它的游戏控制器。微软推出DirectX 9，以XInput取代DirectInput。XInput被用于XBox 360。

DirectInput主要有二个interfaces：

It also provides a system for action mapping, which allows the user to assign specific actions within a game to the buttons and axes of the input devices. Additionally it handles haptic feedback (input/output) devices. Microsoft introduced a new input library called XInput specifically for the Xbox 360 controller.
