德文岛

德文岛（Devon Island）是加拿大帕里群岛的第二大岛，属努那福特。它亦是地球最大的无人岛，面积约为55,000平方公里。

岛上有在始新世末期形成的霍顿陨石坑（Haughton impact crater）。

德文岛位于北纬75度，很接近磁北极，天气严寒。即使在夏天，亦很少超过摄氏10度，冬天温度可达-50度。

1924年8月丹达斯港(74°31'N 82°30'W)有一个哨站创建了。它是政府为打击非法捕鲸和其他活动而设的。1933年哈得逊湾公司租了这个哨站。1934年，毛皮业不景，救济金减低，53个巴芬岛因纽特家庭搬到德文岛，可是1936年他们都受不了这里的气候而离去。1940年代末，为了维持巡逻，丹达斯港曾有人居住，但1951年丹达斯港又关闭了。丹达斯港现在只有一些荒废的建筑。

It is located in Baffin Bay, Qikiqtaaluk Region, Nunavut, Canada. It is one of the larger members of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago, the second-largest of the Queen Elizabeth Islands, Canada's sixth largest island, and the 27th-largest island in the world. It comprises 55,247 km (21,331 sq mi) (slightly smaller than Croatia) of Precambrian gneiss and Paleozoic siltstones and shales. The highest point is the Devon Ice Cap at 1,920 m (6,300 ft) which is part of the Arctic Cordillera.
