法庭

法庭是进行法律聆讯的地方，俗称公堂。

香港司法制度大部份源自英国。法官坐于前方中央位置，后方墙上挂有香港特别行政区区徽，法官前方为法庭职员，再前方为控方和辩方辩护人（律师），公众席位于最后方。聆讯时疑犯坐的犯人字段于傍边，由法警看守。正式聆讯时，法官是最后进入法庭的一个。法官进场时，法庭职员会大叫「Court」，所有人均需站立，待法官进座和众人互相鞠躬后才一起坐下。退庭时，法庭职员亦会大叫「Court」，所有人均需站立，待法官和所有人互相鞠躬后才离开。
