心停止（Cardiac arrest）或称为心搏停止，是心脏因不能够有效收缩或完全不能收缩所导致血液循环停止的现象。医护人员可能会称非预期的心停止为心脏骤停。

心搏停止和心肌梗死不同，后者是供给心脏肌肉的血流不足（不过心肌梗死有可能造成心搏停止）。心搏停止和充血性的心脏衰竭不同，后者的全身血液循环量偏低，但心脏仍然有收缩，提供血液给全身。

心搏停止的结果是无法提供氧气及葡萄糖给身体各部份。脑部没有氧气及葡萄糖会导致无意识，会造成呼吸骤停。若心搏停止超过五分钟，很可能会出现脑部受损。为了有最好的生存和神经恢复，及时的治疗非常重要。
