鳄冰鱼科

鳄冰鱼科（Channichthyidae，又称南极冰鱼、南极虾鱼、crocodile icefish、white-blooded fish）为辐鳍鱼纲鲈形目的一个科，是生长在深海零度以下无污染水域的鱼类，主要以南极虾为食。体内含有丰富的鱼脂肪DHA、EPA等成分，钙质含量丰富，营养价值高。而因为低温下气体溶解率较高，且低温下鱼代谢率低，所以鳄冰鱼科体内虽不含血红素，却仍能靠比例上较大的心脏，在体内中运送足够氧气到身体各处。

The crocodile icefish or white-blooded fish (Channichthyidae) comprise a family of notothenioid fish found in the cold waters around Antarctica and southern South America. Water temperatures remain relatively stable in the Southern Ocean, generally ranging from -1.8 to +2.0°C. Sixteen species of crocodile icefish are currently recognized.
