赫尔辛基（芬兰语：Helsinki），瑞典语称赫尔辛弗斯（Helsingfors），是芬兰的首都以及全国最大城市。赫尔辛基属于南芬兰省的新地区，芬兰最南端的芬兰湾岸边。在2014年，赫尔辛基人口为616,042人。所谓“大赫尔辛基”是由赫尔辛基和埃斯波、万塔、考尼艾南四个城市一起组成的首都区，在2012年12月末的统计中有1,176,976人。

It is in the region of Uusimaa, in southern Finland, on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. Helsinki has a population of 626,305, an urban population of 1,214,210, and a metropolitan population of over 1.4 million, making it the most populous municipality and urban area in Finland. Helsinki is located some 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Tallinn, Estonia, 400 km (250 mi) east of Stockholm, Sweden, and 388 km (241 mi) west of Saint Petersburg, Russia. Helsinki has close historical connections with these three cities.
