CAMK

CAMK is an abbreviation for the Ca/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase class of enzymes. CAMKs are activated by increases in the concentration of intracellular calcium ions (Ca) and transfers phosphates from ATP to defined serine or threonine residues in other proteins.
