紫身短体鳗（学名：Brachysomophis porphyreus），又名紫身短体蛇鳗、鳗、硬骨篡，为辐鳍鱼纲鳗鲡目糯鳗亚目蛇鳗科的其中一种，分布于西北太平洋的台湾、中国南部及日本南部海域，栖息深度可达20公尺，体长可达130公分，栖息在泥底质海域，属肉食性。

Brachysomophis porphyreus 紫身短体鳗Brachysomophis porphyreus is an eel in the family Ophichthidae (worm/snake eels). It was described by Coenraad Jacob Temminck and Hermann Schlegel in 1846. It is a marine, temperate water-dwelling eel which is known from the northwestern Pacific Ocean, including Taiwan, China, and Japan. It is known to dwell at a depth of 20 metres, and makes burrows in mud, nearly deep enough to cover itself completely. Males can reach a maximum total length of 130 centimetres. |
