ZAKA (Hebrew:זק"א‎, abbreviation for Zihuy Korbanot Ason, Hebrew: זיהוי קרבנות אסון, literally: Disaster Victim Identification), is a series of voluntary community emergency response teams in Israel, each operating in a police district (two in the Central District due to geographic considerations).
