建筑信息模型 Building information modeling

建筑信息模型是建筑学、工程学及土木工程的新工具。建筑信息模型（Building Information Modeling，简称BIM），被定义成由完全和充足信息构成以支持生命周期管理，并可由计算机应用进程直接解释的建筑或建筑工程信息模型。简言之，即数字技术支撑的对建筑环境的生命周期管理。当初这个概念是由Jerry Laiserin把Autodesk、奔特力系统软件公司、Graphisoft所提供的技术向公众推广。它是建筑过程的数字展示方式来协助数字信息交流及合作。

依据创造此一概念的Autodesk所赋予的定义，建筑信息模型是指建筑物在设计和建造过程中，创建和使用的"可计算数字信息"。而这些数字信息能够被程序系统自动管理，使得经过这些数字信息所计算出来的各种文档，自动地具有彼此吻合、一致的特性。
