Trigeminal trophic lesions (also known as "Trigeminal trophic syndrome") are a cutaneous condition caused by the interruption of peripheral or central sensory pathways of the trigeminal nerve that result in a slowly enlarging, uninflammed ulcer on the cheek beside the ala nasi.
